Gruv42 is a DJ & producer from Missoula, MT, US. She believes in the power of electronic music to transcend differences and unite people on the dance floor. Her roots are in the New England Rave Scene, where she played as an artist and dj beginning in 1994 at the age of 17. She attended Berklee College of music and then toured for several years with her unique progressive trance and electro live performance. After taking time off to raise a family, Gruv42 returned to the stage in 2022. She has played across North America at festivals and venues ranging from small gatherings to large stages both as a supporting artist and a headliner. 

As a producer, Gruv42 effortlessly creates a unique atmosphere that takes listeners on a musical journey. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of influences and a childhood deeply rooted in jazz, her productions are characterized by hypnotic melodies, intricate rhythms, and meticulously crafted layers of sound. Gruv42’s tracks have a distinct emotional depth, often blending melancholic elements with uplifting moments, resulting in a sonic experience that resonates deeply with her listeners. Since her digital debut in 2022, she has charted in the top 25 for multiple singles and releases on Beatport, Junodownloads, Apple Music, Hypeddit and Re-Ex.
